Think about what you have and how lucky you are compared to others in the world. Even if you’re homeless and have nothing to your name, it is better than living in a hut in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do or eat. Be thankful that you can live right now and that you have the ability to make your life better if you really want to. When you can be happy with who you are and what you have, the world will not get you as down as before.
Quit talking to yourself in a negative way. Listen to your thoughts, and when they start to take a turn for the worst, you need to put a stop to it. Instead of feeling naturally happy, you have to keep using drugs to and that wears on you because its hard to be happy when you don’t have the right chemicals in play.
